Brownies are aged 7-10
Programme
The Brownie programme is filled with activities to help them learn and grow. They will learn through arts and crafts, sports and games, getting in touch with nature and making new friends.
Badges
Girls work towards a number of badges across multiple themes.
They can work towards a number of different interest badges including Archaeology, Aviation and Baking.
Awards
When a Brownie has acheived all 6 Theme award badges they can work towards their Gold Award.
Experiences
Our Brownies have taken part in a wide range of experiences including:

Sleepovers at Deep Sea World, the Tall Ship Glasgow

Pack Holidays at Netherurd Guiding Centre, Fordell Firs

Trips to Summerlee, Blair Drummond Safari Park, and

County wide events such as a Roller Disco, fun day at Strathclyde Park
Uniform
The Brownie uniform is bright with plenty of space to sew all those badges on.
They have a short or long sleeved t-shirt, zipper, leggings, trousers, cycle shorts, gilet, skort and a hat to choose from! There is also a sash available for sewing badges on.

We have Brownie units in Glenmavis, Clarkston, Calderbank and New Wellwynd.
