Rangers

Rangers are aged 14-18.

Programme

The Ranger programme follows the same themes as all other sections with added difficulty and skills for the age group.

Badges

Girls work towards a number of badges across a number of different themes. 

They can work towards a number of different interest badges including protesting, animation and travel.

Awards

When a Ranger has acheived all 6 Theme award badges they can work towards their Gold Award. 

Senior Section members can also word towards Duke of Edinburgh Awards, the Commonwealth Award and the Queen's Guide Award

Experiences

Rangers can experience:

  • International camps

  • flexible unit meetings that act as support during important times such as exam study leave

  • new friendships

  • Peer Educator training

  • Lead Away permit

  • Becoming a Young Leader

  • Becoming a member of Amplify

  • Becoming an advocate

Uniform

They have a poloshirt, zipper and shirt to choose from!

Locations

We are looking to set up a Ranger unit. If you would like more information please get in touch.

 

The nearest active Ranger unit is in Coatbridge. 

Ranger units are flexible and can run weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
